(I bet you can see the lazy post coming, can't you! You smart thing.)
There's more chockfulla in my future too... Orchestra concerts near and far, more kid birthdays than you can shake a stick at, not to mention all the grownups having birthdays too**, the dreaded Expense System reboot at work and all its associated freaking out...
I think I need a vacation. Or rather I will, in about 3 months.
It may be a vacation on my couch, but I'm going to take a couple of days off for sure, to sleep in and read and... I don't know. Crochet something.
But today? Today is Lazy Post day. I did find some thrilling stuff for you... yay for Vimeo!
** Just a side thought I had, which was too long for parenthesis... As the parent of a not-small child, I find that I prefer the adult birthdays. There's a lot less screaming, almost no cake throwing, and nobody vomits or cries without a reason. Plus, booze! You can't have booze at a kid's party without raising some eyebrows. It just isn't *done*.
They Might Be Giants, "I'm Impressed" from Bent Image Lab on Vimeo.
Very cool and full of fun art. Plus, TMBG! Win-win!
One year in 120 seconds from Eirik Solheim on Vimeo.
Did I already show you this one? I might have. It's very soothing.
Freezelight Magic Forest from FREEZELIGHT.RU on Vimeo.
This was done entirely with light and a camera and mad skillz.
With a Z.
Happy Thursday!

Love it. The second one just increases by tree and branch obsession.
I think I'll spend the rest o my work day on vimeo now.
One year in 120 seconds was really beautiful.
This gave me a good laugh (because you know I'm there right now): "There's a lot less screaming, almost no cake throwing, and nobody vomits or cries without a reason. Plus, booze! You can't have booze at a kid's party without raising some eyebrows"
HA!
Just posted my comment and still chuckling! What if I just vomitted for no reason at a party? Right on the carpet no less. HA!! I love that. For some reason the image of that just makes me laugh. Thanks for the good giggle!
Elle, it goes right along with my assertion that it would be *so* nice to handle stress like a 5 year old. I want to be able to, when confronted with a reality to which I object, throw myself to the floor, scream and cry and flail violently, and finally be soothed by some ice cream and a hug.
Dawn, I knew you'd love that one... :)
